Home Port Marina just opened at the end of 2005, Homeport Marina looks more to be a yacht basin than just a marina. There soon will be condo units that will surround the basin and best of all Lulu's at Homeport Restaurant is right there!
Homeport is accessed via the intracoastal waterway from Mobile Bay to the West and Perdido Bay to the East. It is located where the bridge crosses the waterway at Gulf Shores. This should be a somewhat safer mooring location during severe hurricanes than some of the other marinas in the area. But watch out for loose barges, just ask Lulu.

Zekes is home to a large Charter Fleet that services inshore and offshore fishing customers. There is a very good seafood restaurant on the premises. They also have wetslips and dry storage as well as a fuel dock.

The Wharf Marina is a super nice marina and is currently under construction at The Wharf development. It is on the South side of the intracoastal waterway where the Foley Beach Express toll bridge is. The new harbor has been dredged from both the East and West sides of the bridge. The marina features floating wet slips. This development is sure to be a very prominent address in the near future.
The development will feature 210 private and public boat slips which are currently being leased. They will have three fuel docks, restaurants, and shopping.
The Wharf Marina is located between the Intracoastal Waterway mile markers 158 and 159 and should be a well protected mooring area.
Sun Harbor has wetslips and dry storage, a ships store, boat cleaning services, and is located next to the popular Tacky Jacks restaurant. It is convenient to the Gulf of Mexico as well as Perdido Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway.
